Couples Communication Lab
with Lolo Halman and Sara Eden Gally
October 27th, 10am-2pm at Wild Hearts Wellness, 4230 NE Fremont Street, PortlandAre you interested in building skills to move through conflict more fluidly with your partner?
In times of conflict, do you and your partner:
repeat the same conversations?
reach temporary resolution that doesn't last?
feel adversarial rather than collaborative?
If any of these resonate for you, this lab will help you and your partner to:
break out of cyclical conflict and find more satisfying resolution
connect more deeply through times of conflict
build a greater sense of ‘we’ as a team
Join Lolo Halman (Dipl. PW) and Sara Eden Gally (AMFT) to learn body-based communication methods to transform conflict with your partner. This ‘lab’ is a space to practice with your partner using the tools introduced and to get coaching from skilled conflict facilitators while doing so.
What to expect in the workshop:
- practice embodied exercises to build a greater awareness of your inner experiences when most activated
- learn practical tools for reflecting your partner’s experience from a deeper, more curious place
- witness & learn from a couple being facilitated through conflict by Lolo & Sara Eden
- gain approaches for interrupting cycles of escalation and returning to center
and more!

A Quick Guide to the Tiered Pricing Model
(taken from Worts and Cunning)
While you can look at more thorough info about what a tiered pricing model is and why we use it here, below is a very brief rundown :
The top pricing tier is the base rate of this offering. If you choose a rate below the base rate you are receiving a discount.
The middle pricing tier is for those who are able to meet their basic needs but have little-to-no expendable income. This tier is for whom paying at the base rate would qualify as a sacrifice but not create significant hardship.
The bottom pricing tier is for those who struggle to meet basic needs, and for whom paying at the base rate would create significant hardship.
The Pay-It-Forward price is a few bucks above the base rate of this offering; that extra money goes towards supporting scholarships as well as future free and low-cost offerings. Essentially it's an opportunity to not only take this offering but also support your fellow community members while you're at it. Sweet!
